Call for Papers: CANDJ Special Edition on Naturopathic Cancer Care
CAND Journal (CANDJ), the indexed and peer-reviewed publication of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, invites submissions for a special edition dedicated to Naturopathic Cancer Care. Scheduled for publication in June 2025, this edition will showcase best practices, novel observational trials, and updated clinical decision-making insights, highlighting advancements and innovation in naturopathic approaches to cancer care.
Submission Guidelines:
CANDJ welcomes original research, short reports, reviews, perspectives, case reports, and commentaries. All manuscripts submitted to the Journal must be prepared according to our author guidelines (see https://candjournal.ca/index.php/candj/AuthorGuidelines). Please note that manuscripts not conforming to these guidelines may be returned to the author for correction. Our submission checklist provides a summary of the minimum requirements.
- Deadline for Submissions: March 1, 2025
- Expected Publication Date: June 19, 2025
Peer Review Process:
All manuscripts submitted for potential inclusion in the special edition will undergo the Journal’s standard peer review process. Important notes about timelines:
- The peer review process can take up to 2 months.
- If revisions are requested after the first round of review, authors will be asked to upload their revised manuscript within three weeks, or possibly sooner to meet publication and production timelines.

Manuscripts must be submitted through CANDJ’s online submission system at https://candjournal.ca/index.php/candj/about/submissions. Please indicate in your title page that your submission is for the special edition on Naturopathic Cancer Care.
